A MEMORANDUM HAD BEEN SIGNED ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF COOPERATION IN THE FIELD OF MEDIATION

Yusif Yusibov, Rector of Ganja State University, met with Gasim Shaliyev, Director of Baku Mediation Organization No. 15. Administrative staff of the University Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Shahin Khurshudov, Director of the Department of Innovations Vasif Hasanov, and Director of the Mediation Center of the University Ruslan Mammadov also attended to this meeting.

      Rector prof. Yusif Yusibov spoke in detail about the Mediation Center which had been established in the Department of Innovations in the main educational building of the university and the work done in this field. At the meeting, a memorandum on the development of mutual cooperation in the field of mediation had been signed between Ganja State University and Baku Mediation Organization No. 15.

According to the memorandum, it is envisaged to increase students’ theoretical knowledge, create practical opportunities for them and conduct joint research. At the same time, within the framework of the memorandum, conditions will be created for linking the research, course and graduation works of the students who passed the relevant course at the Mediation Center of the University and the dissertation topics of the graduate students with the content of the projects implemented by the organization.

   Within the framework of the meeting, Ruslan Mammadov, director of the University Mediation Center, and Gasim Shaliyev, director of Baku Mediation Organization No. 15, got familiar with the activities of the Mediation Center which has done so far at Ganja State University.
