ONLINE MEETING HAS BEEN HELD BETWEEN THE MEDIATS PROJECT TEAMS OF KHAZAR UNIVERSITY AND GANJA STATE UNIVERSITY

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, travels, face-to-face trainings, and overall planned activities within the project have been temporarily postponed. However, with the recommendation of the European Commission, online meetings are held in order to keep the project activities ongoing.
Thus, within the framework of MEDIATS project, a group meeting was held between the project teams of Khazar University and Ganja State University on 20 April 2020. The main objective of the meeting was to revise the work plan for the remaining period, analyze steps to be taken to fulfill the project obligations, and discuss many other project-related issues. To be more specific, during the local meeting, partner universities talked about the dissemination of project activities at both universities, opening of a master’s degree program in mediation, and planned journal articles that are going to be published.

In the end, it is noteworthy to highlight that the main goal of the MEDIATS project is to enable Universities to be one of the key players in the facilitation of the processes of mediation in Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Ukraine to enhance democracy and objective problem resolution by acquiring best European practices.
