INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE ON “NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL PRIORITIES AND GLOBAL ECONOMIC THREATS: NEW CHALLENGES, OPPORTUNITIES AND PERSPECTIVES” ORGANIZED WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE “YEAR OF HEYDAR ALIYEV”
International scientific conference on “National environmental priorities and global economic threats: new challenges, opportunities and perspectives” organized within the framework of the “Year of Heydar Aliyev” will be held at Ganja State University on 15–16 December, 2023. The conference is held with the initiative of The Milli Majlis Committee for Natural Resources, Energy and Ecology, with the support of The Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and with the co-organization of Ganja State University, Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), and Nakhchivan State University. The main goal of the conference is to unite the efforts of all organizations and institutions involved in the protection of ecological balance in Azerbaijan and the world on one academic platform and to organize a discussion of the obtained scientific research results.
The work of the conference will be dedicated to the following thematic areas:
- National environmental policy as one of the directions of state policy in Azerbaijan
- Green, smart, and healthy cities: perspectives and challenges
- Greening the economy
- Environmental terrorism committed by Armenia against Azerbaijan: economic analysis and evaluation
- Transition from the traditional economic growth model to the green economy
- Green business, behaviour and marketing strategies
- Ecology and healthy life
- Green energy and transport
- A new stage in the development of the financial system: green finance trends
- Green tourism
Working languages of the conference: Azerbaijani, English, Turkish, Russian.

FORM 1. Rules to prepare the articles
1. Paper format: A4, font size: 12, font type: Times New Roman, margins: 2,5 sm, spacing: 1, indentation:1. Text must be prepared without leaving extra spaces between lines.
2. Key words must be given after the name of the article
3. References must be given in the following way: in square brackets, number of the source, page. For example: [2] or [2, p.14-15].
4. Working languages of the conference: Azerbaijani, English, Turkish, Russian.
Structure of the materials
1. Surname, name, father’s name, and academic title of the author in bold font;
2. Name of the article in large and bold font;
3. Name of the organization, country, and city in regular font;
Articles that do not meet requirements and topics of the conference will not be accepted by the organizing committee. The author bears responsibility for the article.
